Voting Information:
Permanent Vote by Mail Status

Any California voter may request permanent vote by mail status. These voters are automatically mailed a ballot for each election in which they are eligible to vote without resubmitting an application. These voters retain this status unless they fail to return a voted ballot in two consecutive statewide General Elections.

To receive permanent vote by mail status, complete the application on the back of your sample ballot booklet. Be sure to check the "Permanent Vote by Mail Status" box on the application. You can also download the Permanent Vote by Mail Application. Mail or fax the completed application to the Butte County Elections Office.
